Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Mattresses can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new bedding should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

It was never shipped

VictorA 10/8/2024

I bought this item I got to schedule the delivery and one day before the delivery I was told (only because I called) that they didn't have the item and there were no ETA to have it, and they told me they will cancel the order. Not sure why they made me wait for more than 2 weeks to tell me they didn't even have it in the first place.

Moving into sleepy time!

Jshort 6/24/2024

I half expected a bunch of noise while the bed was moving. it is very quiet doesn't alert my two little dogs. I find the zero g setting to be right on the money. It seems to be well worth every dime. I recommend it to everyone I know that may be getting a new bed.

Not good for people with upper back problems

Overwhelmed 12/17/2023

While the quality of the mechanism appears to be very good, the actual movement it makes is not conducive to good posture. Instead of lifting you in a way that your back remains straight, the mechanism slides backwards before lifting. This means that your bottom drops into a small crevice created and the upward movement actually bends you more at your shoulders. This, in combination with the head rest, causes your back to curl forward instead of be lifted up. It actually makes it HARDER to get out of bed if you need something for mobility assistance. It also results in a cavity at the small of your back, so spine is forced into a c shaped curve (i.e. negative lumbar support.) So if you've used other beds that lift your back at a fixed angle that pivots at your hip and liked that, then this bed is not for you. I am extremely disappointed with the movement, as I have upper back problems and this bed makes them worse. But I do have to reiterate that the quality of the bed is good and the movement pattern may be good for people with hip problems.

Excellent Power Articulating Bed Base/Frame

hunternicholas 2/5/2023

I've had my Motion Perfect bed base frame for going on five years now, and it has been flawless. This is the version that is simple. It's powered and plugs into any USA electric wall outlet. I don't think it uses much electricity because the lights in my bedroom don't dim whenever I adjust the position of my bed. By "simple" I mean that it has just the basic functions and nothing fancy like vibration setting or making angles or bells-and-whistles. The Motion Perfect, is just that. It offers the ability to lift and lower either the upper body and head part of the mattress and the ability to lift and lower the lower body and foot part of the mattress. It also has a single button on the remote to set your mattress to Zero-Gravity. That setting distributes your body weight evenly, and as result you won't feel pressure points. As well, it also has a one touch button that automatically sets the mattress to return to Flat. I've found that to be a great feature when I'm drifting off to sleep and I want the mattress to go flat from whatever adjustment I have it set at, such as when I've been watching television. You do not use a box-spring under your mattress with this base frame as if you were to do that you would not have the ability to make any adjustments. You put your mattress right on top of the base frame. It has a nice fabric covering where the mattress lays on to it. And it has even nicer fabric on the sides of the base where it shows unless you use a bed skirt to cover the lower sides. I don't like bed skirts, so that it has nice side fabric is a bonus for me. Bear in mind that I purchased this unit in 2018 and I'm writing this in 2023, therefore I can't say if cosmetic or other changes may have been made since my purchase. The mechanicals of the unit have been flawless as I make adjustments every night when I get into bed and keep the remote on the bed with me to make further adjustments during the night. That's been a lot of adjustments over the course of five years, and I've never had a single problem, nor have I heard noises as though it needs to be lubricated or indicating that something is wrong. It functions as perfectly as it had on the very first night that I slept on it. The remote is small, and it's smooth so it slides around and can easily become lost in my bed. Since I want the remote in bed with me all night, next to my pillow, I stuck a thick piece of the loop-side of Velcro onto the back side of it. That has offered enough holding power to keep it in place on flannel sheets that I use year-round. What has surprised me the most over the years is how long the batteries in the remote have lasted. I still haven't had to replace the batteries. I don't have a negative thing to say about the Serta Motion Perfect base frame. This is one product that has operated as described and flawlessly so over the years. Somehow that seems rare in this day and age. When I bought my Motion Perfect base frame, I also bought a new mattress. I'd actually gone into the store for a new mattress and saw the Motion Perfect display, intrigued I purchase one and a new mattress. I am so glad that I decided to try a Motion Perfect base frame because I have loved having this unit. And if it ever does break or wear-out, I'll buy another. I don't want to be without one ever again, even just for the aspect of how well my sinuses do while sleeping, in having the ability to have my head slightly raised. I've read a number of comments here and I noted mentions of the Motion Perfect ruining mattresses. I'd like to explain what happens, as that happened to my first mattress, and why you don't have to worry about that happening anymore. The problem I had with the first new mattress on the Motion Perfect base frame is that when I would make adjustments, I could hear the inside of the mattress ripping. I'd gone into the store about it and the salesman told me he didn't think that could happen and it was probably due to the brand-new mattress stretching and not to worry about it. I felt the better for having logged-in my concern. Good thing, because the mattress was ripping apart internally and about a year later the mattress failed, having lost support and comfort. My mattress had become something like lying in a bowl. I returned to the bedding store for a warrantee claim. And by that point the bedding industry had learned that this does happen. I'm going to explain how it turned out, and why you don't have to worry any more about buying a mattress that will be damaged by an articulating bed base frame. When I bought the Serta Motion Perfect base frame, I was (and still am) a Simmons Beauty Rest lover, so I had purchased a Simmons mattress to go with it. The Simmons mattresses at the time weren't built to be articulated with a power bed base frame. Simmons, as were most mattresses in 2018, were built to remain flat, thus the ripping sounds I'd heard and ultimately the internal damage that was caused. The store made good on the mattress for me. I want to say that the store is Bedding Barn in North Haven, Connecticut and because they have been very good, I continue to be a loyal customer of theirs. And by the time I had the mattress failure in 2019/2020, they had learned that only certain models of Serta mattress were made to work with the Serta Motion Perfect base frame. And the Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses (at the time) certainly wouldn't work. The salesman (Rich) at Bedding Barn worked with me to find a nice replacement mattress that would work with the Motion perfect base frame. Being concerned, I decided to play it safe and chose a Serta mattress for use on the Serta Motion Perfect base frame, and that's been a nice mattress. I tend to replace my mattress sooner than most people because I have osteoarthritis as well as most my left side was permanently damaged in a falling accident in 2015. A couple of days ago, I'd gone back to Bedding Barn to replace my current mattress. While there I've learned more, and I want to share that here. This time I'm working with salesman, Joe Carroll, who is a true gentleman and has had a long career in the furniture industry and is a bedding expert as well. Joe explained that, now the stores have data sheets from all the mattress manufacturers and these data sheets, now specifically show which of their mattresses will work (or not) with an articulating bed base frame. That's great because now with the information being published, you can't be mismatched with a mattress that isn't built to be used on an articulating base frame. In short, if you want to buy a Serta Motion Perfect base frame just be sure to ask the store salesperson to show you the data sheet (in black and white) for the mattress you want to buy to go with it. That way you'll know for sure if the mattress is approved for use on an articulating bed base frame. As well, if you wanted to buy a Serta Motion Perfect base frame for an existing mattress you have, pull the tags off of that mattress and bring them into the store. It's best to have the actual data tags that were fastened to the mattress when it was built. The reason is that a given model of mattress can have sub-versions under the same model name, and by knowing exactly which model of mattress you have, the store data sheet for each specific mattress model will confirm if it can be used on an articulating bed base frame. A few other notes. For people that don't like the look of the chrome bar that sticks up at the foot end of the Motion Perfect base frame. That bar can be easily covered by the bottom sheet you put on your mattress. It's not necessary for the chrome bar to show. However, understand that you can't remove that chrome bar because it keeps the mattress on the base frame, and without it your mattress would end up on the floor. In other words, that chrome bar keeps the mattress on the base frame as you make various articulating adjustments. I've found when changing my sheets, that in the case of tight-fitting bottom sheets, I can very easily get the bottom sheet on by using the remote to raise both the upper and lower ends of my mattress, part-way. The bottom sheet will then go onto the mattress very easily, and when I'm done, I just tap the "Flat" button on the remote and my bed lowers to the flat position, and that tight sheet will stay on the mattress. I want to say that the Motion Perfect must be a very big seller for Serta. As I've been perusing the web site here, I couldn't help but notice that the price of the Motion Perfect has more than doubled since purchasing mine in 2018. The upshot to that is people must love them and that Serta continues with having them be well-made. The downside is obviously the price. But I wouldn't be angry with Serta about that. I'm sure that a big percentage of the price is due to the higher costs of the continuing effect we have from COVID, the supply chain, etcetera, and of course our dwindling economy coupled with inflation. However, bear in mind that if Serta has continued to build the Motion Perfect as flawlessly as mine is, that your money will remain well-spent.
